How to avoid frustrating your blog visitors

Today, I decided to share with you some tips about  how to customize your blog in order to encourage your visitors to read and comment your blog:

1. Having dark color (especially black) background for you blog theme is definitely not a good idea.

    It's always difficult to read light font on black/dark background and if reading you blog posts is   

    difficult for your visitors, then why they will stick with your blog? So make sure, you have black 

    font and light background.

2. Another thing you should be careful about, is fonts. No matter how interesting you content is, if 

    you use some strange, unusual style or size font, then the chances that you loose your readers are 

     higher. 

   Just imagine if I was using this kind of shrift:  nina's style blog  or nina's style blog 

   or

3. Music. Everyone loves music, there is no doubt about that, but when you visit a blog and there is 

    some music going on , it can be disturbing for those visitors who have absolutely different music 

    taste or just want to enjoy with their playlist instead of listening your blog music, or they prefer not   

    to have any music on. 

4. CAPTCA plug-in. Be careful when you choose a plug-in on your blog that requires your visitors
    to input a code in order to prove that they aren't spammers. The code that contains words  is
    probably the most frustrating part about commenting because usually, the words are very difficult
    to read and it requires several attempts to gain access to commenting. And let's be honest, not too
    many of your visitors will try several times to crack the code, they would rather move on. 

    

    So, to avoid frustrate and loose your visitors, you have a few options:

   

       A) You can hold all your comments on moderation without using any frustrating cods or even 

            any plug-ins. Blogger has that option (I'm not sure about others though)

       B) or Use plug-in such as Disqus that eliminates "spam issue" because only members of that    

            service can comment or you can comment as a guest. Any suspicious comments are held on 

            moderation.  

     
       C) or use no plug-in , no verification code and no moderation. (even thought this option has a 

            chance of some spam issues, it's still option for many bloggers.
