Today I'm going to share with you my thoughts on this Smashbox '24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow primer:
I got this '24 Hour Photo Finish' Shadow primer in a Smashbox Travel Kit few months ago but since I was busy, getting ready for traveling, I didn't get a chance to do a quick review until now.
So what is this primer?

According to the label, Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish shadow primer "makes shadows last and has the added benefit of making color appear more vibrant. Sweat- and humidity-resistant, this formula doesn't fade, crease, or smudge for 24 hours" Sounds exciting, doesn't it?
And here is what I think: This is a decent shadow primer, I don't know about 24 hours, but it keeps the shadow for at least 12 hours. This Smashbox '24 Hour Photo Finish' shadow primer is a bit on the thincker side__ when I first applied it I thought it would never blend, but it's actually very easy to spread on the lids.
I apply a thin layer to my bare lids, it doesn't crease and doesn't irritate my eyes. I like the fact that this primer is in a tube, it's more hygienic than primers in jars (like this Estee Lauder 'Double Wear' Stay-in-Place' primer).
The only problem I have is that it's difficult to blend shadows with this primer. As I already mentioned, this Smashbox shadow primer is on the thicker side, so shadows really stick to it, so you have to be careful not to put too much shadow in one spot, otherwise it will be difficlut to fix it. So, I personally try to wear neutral eyeshadows with this primer so even if I put too much shadows by mistake, it will not be very noticeable.

I can understand what you mean about it being difficult to blend on top of it, I'd imagined that when first hearing about the product! Though, for neutral shades it sounds as though it works a treat :)

I've only tried smashbox's full face primer (which I LOVE) but I can see what you mean about the eyeshadow primer looking super thick and therefore hard to blend...great idea to try it in the travel size first!

I wear eyeshadow all the time but have never actually used an eyeshadow primer, either I have really good eyeshadow or...well I don't know but I keep wanting to give a primer a go but couldn't make a decision at which one to buy!
