Hope you are having nice week so far. Today I want to go back to Paris and talk about Welcome Cafe on Rue de Rivoli:
Welcome Cafe in Paris, France |
When you travel, you have no choice but eat in restaurants (which I usually avoid in my everyday life at home) and after your trip, you have those memories of not only some sightseeing, museums, architect, streets, shops, but also of the cafes/restaurants where you had spent time during your trip. So, I thought I would show you guys the cafe/restaurant that I loved the most in Paris, and I'm pretty sure if I go back to Paris one day, I will visit this place again. It's Welcome Cafe on Rue de Rivoli:

The menu was in French and the waitress was not speaking English (just keep this in mind if one day you will visit this place) but she was very sweet and attantive young girl. I'm lucky I could speack French (Thanks to my mom, who loves French culture so much that she took me to French school from childhood).
The menu of Welcome Cafe in Paris, France |
This cafe/restaurant was within walking distance to the Tuileries Garden, Place Vendome, the Louvre, Place de la Concorde.
As you can see in the pictures it was not crowded while we were there.
The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious as well as the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

The price was little more expensive than other places but I expected it because of the great, mostly touristic location.
The main thing for me was that they accepted American Express, so I was very happy about it haha (you may remember how disapointed I got when I couldn't pay by credit card in the other restaurant, in Paris , you can read about it __ Here)
So, yes, this was very nice place with delicious food and nice service and I hope I will be able to go back one day.
Thanks for reading beauties, wish you a lovely day everyone.
It looks like such a cute little spot! I am drooling over that chocolate brownie

This cafe sounds really nice! I always carry cash just in case they don't accept credit card. I find it's a hit or miss sometimes when traveling.

After Paris, I learned that first thing I have to do when I travel abroad is to take cash with me.
DeleteLovely! I have yet to visit Paris and I will put this on my list of places to visit for sure! That chocolate brownie and ice cream looks divine.

This café certainly does look 'welcoming' - both with regard to interior design and the food! The dessert looks particularly tasty and I love the touch of stacked books scattered about :)
