Hope you are having wonderful week so far. In today's post I want to talk about my new favorite face moisturizer __ Estee Lauder Verite Moisture Reliefe Creme.
As the label claims: " This gentle, soothing moisturizer for truly sensitive skin revives skin's smoothness and suppleness, helping it rebuild its moisture defense barrier. Special anti-irritants help reduce the appearance of redness common to sensitive skin. Your skin is left feeling silky and cushioned. The formula is free of common allergens and created without harsh emulsifiers."
Estee Lauder Verite Moisture Relief Creme for sensitive skin |
Now, let me tell you: This Estee Lauder Verite Moisture Relief Creme has safed my skin from total damage. I got allergic reaction to my previous shampoo and I got some awful rash all over my face last month. I was panicked beacuse I didn't know how to take care of my skin, which moisturizer to use that would not irritate my, already irritated, skin.
My Lancome 'Bienfait Multi-Vital' Night cream was making my skin even worse that time so I had to look for a new moisturizer for sensitive skin.
My Lancome 'Bienfait Multi-Vital' Night cream was making my skin even worse that time so I had to look for a new moisturizer for sensitive skin.
My skin looked so terrible that I just didn't want to leave home for any reason. When I went to the mall to get a new moisturizer, I didn't know where to hide my face, I'm not joking.
The sales representative persuaded me to get this Estee Lauder Verite Moisture Relief Creme after she heard about my skin story, and I'm happy I listened to her __ this cream is a miracle for anyone with sensitive skin.
It's a gentle, soothing moisturizer that is alcohol-free and fragrance-free. (I think I've never appriciated enough the skincare products without alcohol and fragrance until I didn't break out awfully.) This is lightweight formula, feels luxurious when you're applying it and absorbs pretty quickly, while leaving the skin smooth and hydrated.
As you can see in the picture, I almost empty this jar because this was the only thing I could apply on my skin last few weeks. I'm not sure it was becasue of this cream or not, but my skin looks much better, not quite as good as it used to, but at least the rashes are almost gone and I can afford to try out other skincare products.
I know, so far this moisturizer sounds like a miracle in a jar, but it's time to talk about its downside:
#1 is the price __ it's quite expensive, I have to say. If I didn't have those rashes all over my face, I would probably not buy this cream because of the price, but I'm happy I have found this Estee Lauder moisturizer when I needed it the most.
Another thing is that since I have quite dry skin, I need a product that can help my skin stay moisturized as long as possible. Even though this 'Verite' moisturizes my skin, soothes it and gives it nice glow, I believe, the moisture doesn't last all day (like my previous Lancome 'Bienfait Multi-Vital' night moisturizer did).
But again, this cream can be a skinsaver for someone with extremly sensitive skin or during break out, so it can be one of the options for that kind of skin emergency.
Have you tried out this cream yet?
Let me know in the comments below and have a fabulous day.

Oh, no, that's a sad story, but thankfully you got this Verite Moisture Relief cream to help you! I have very sensitive skin and cannot wear Lancome... it does not suit my skin, as I guess it doesn't suit yours. I do believe you didn't want to leave home! I like Estee Lauder very much and still haven't used this cream, but I am very curious to do so!

Sorry for my late reply Pam. I was using L'oreal Paris Advanced haircare Triple resist Reinforcing Shampoo And L'oreal Paris Vibrancy Nourishing Conditioner. I think that this shampoo ruined my skin because I used to have this conditioner few months ago and it worked fine for me. In any case, I'm not going to buy any Loreal hair products sometime soon, I got so scared.
DeleteGreat review, sounds like an amazing cream!

I've never used any of Estee Lauder's skin care products before, this moisturizer sounds wonderful! You know, if a product performs really well and doesn't have all those harsh chemicals, then it's definitely worth the price. I'm glad you were able to find something that works well for your skin! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great weekend ahead!
