Happy Monday sweeties,
Hope you had wonderful weekend. Today I'm going to share with you my experience about this Estee Lauder moisturizer: I got my first Estee Lauder 'Hydrationist' Maximum Moisture Creme 6 years ago __ it was my first skincare product that I bought soon after I moved to the United States (I can't believe, I still remember it haha) but what I don't remember is how it worked for my skin that time, so I decided to give it another try and bought it after I finish my Estee Lauder 'Verite' cream (you can read my review __ Here).
Estee Lauder 'Hydrationist' Maximum Moisture Creme |
As the label says, this Estee Lauder moisturizer is for normal to combination skin. When I started applying this moisturizer it was that time when Estee Lauder 'Verite' slowly made my skin look better after awful break out from my previous shampoo, and I was quite nervous about giving this one a try but it worked great for my skin.
Love the lightweight formula, it moisturizes the skin and leaves amazing silky feeling. I apply it every morning , it absorbs quickly and it's perfect to use under makeup. Only thing you have to keep in mind is that if you are going to use it as a day moisturiser you will need to use other products with SPF factor because 'Hydrationist' will not protect you from sun damage( I personally use a liquid foundation with SPF factor).
It has some fresh smell, but doesn't bother me. What I would change about this cream is its packaging __ I never liked a jar for skincare products, otherwise I'm happy I gave it another try.

Wish you all a fabulous start of the week.

I love how you remember buying this as your first beauty product when moving to the US - that's so fun! Although like you I'm not a huge fan of skincare products cased in awkward jars, this product by Estée Lauder really does sound great! :)

It sounds so good, even though the packaging isn't that practical as you say, it's still quite charming! Xx

I haven't tried many products from Estee Lauder but this one sounds really good. I like my creams to be in a tube instead of a jar, I don't like sticking my fingers in the jar to get the product out!

Does this come with a spatula applicator? Like you, I'm not too keen on jars for beauty products but I do like Estee Lauder
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this would be moisturising enough for my skin but it does sound like a great product. I'm currently trying out the new Wakeup Balm from the brand which adds a lovely glow to the skin, but I use it more as a primer then a moisturiser alone x
