My Day Trip To Philadelphia

Happy Wednesday my friends. I know it's been really long time since I last posted on the blog but I'm here again and I hope everyone is doing great. Today I want to share with you little bit about my weekend trip to Philadelphia. The main purpose of this trip was to entairtain my 7 years old daughter who always feels bored if she is not around her friends.
Our first stop was Please Touch Museum. We spent almost 3 hours there and it was quite interesting for my daughter. (The special post about this museum is coming on the blog next week, so, make sure you come back to check it out.)

After the museum, we went to nearby Olive Garden restaurant to have lunch but we didn't enjoy it __ my Portabella Raviollis were extremly oily, even chocolate cake (that looked as if delicious ) was so bad that my daughter didn't eat.

First chocolate cake that looked yummy but didn't taste delicious

After our disapointing lunch, next on my must-see list was Liberty Bell, one of the most iconic places in Philadelphia but unfortunatley it was so crowdy with long lines that I decided to skip it and to go to Philadelphia Museum of Art.
On the way, we stopped by at this beautiful square with a huge fountain to take some pictures but once my daughter took shoes off, jumped in the water and started running around with other kids, I knew, I would never make to the museum of Art that day LoL. And in fact, we stayed there almost two hours.

Only thing we could do after that, was to go to Georgian restaurant and eat my favorite Georgian food that I last ate when I went back to my country 3 years ago. Georgian decor and smell of the food made me missed my country but overall we enjoyed the ambiance and the food.

My favorite Georgian food (soft bread filled with special cheese and covered with a thin layer of cheese)

Afer that, it was time to drive home with the feeling that I could have seen more than I did. But it's always like that__  at the end of each trip, I feel like I didn't see enough. Good thing is that I can always go back to visit the museums that were on my list. Overall, it was nice trip.

Have you been to Philadelphia? What would you like to visit there? Let me know in the comments below.

Wish you all a fabulous day.
