Every year, during Spring time, I struggle find right skincare products for my dry, sensitive skin that gets even drier after harsh winter weather and constant indoor heat. So, when I was offered to try out Lexli skincare , I was very excited. The reason for that is that Lexli skincare is quite unique because they use a base of organic, pharmaceutical-grade Aloe Vera instead of Water, as is used in most skin care products.
Why is Aloe good for the skin?
Aloe penetrates tissue:
Unlike water, which is used as the base ingredient of most skincare products, aloe can be absorbed deep into the skin's layer that means that aloe skin care products, like those offered by Lexli, can deliver active ingredients to the site of skin healing, rather than simply sitting on the skin surface.
Aloe encourages the healing of tissue:
Aloe has an excellent ability to regenerate skin cells, that makes it beneficial to skin that has been damaged by UV exposure, acne, and eczema.
Aloe reduces inflammation:
Aloe contains salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid and sterols that are known for their anti-inflammatory capabilities.
Aloe has antimicrobial properties:
Aloe contains saponin and barbaloin, two components that are proven lethal against bacteria. This allows aloe to be effective in the treatment of acne.
I decided to try out
Lexli Night moisturizer Aloe Vera Cream * for normal-to-dry and sensitive skin types. This is a luxurious cream that hydrates and softens skin while you sleep. This
Night Moisturizer is particularly soothing for those with dry and sensitive skin, also beneficial for those with inflammatory skin conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema and rosacea.
If you have very dry skin, like I do, you can use it morning and evening to ensure optimal hydration and protection from moisture loss. I apply it after cleansing my skin, in the morning and in the evening, and the result is incredible _soft, smooth, hydrated skin. This cream absorbs quickly and is perfect under make up too.
Another product I've been using is
Lexli Moisture Intensifier Serum *. This serum starts with a soothing base of pure aloe vera that effectively calms irritation and redness while encouraging healing.
Moisture Intensifier Serum can be used as an all-over treatment under moisturizer to maximize skin hydration or as a spot treatment for areas particularly prone to dryness. You can even use this serum after waxing to calm irritated skin.
I personally use it under my moisturizer all over on my face and neck and love how it keeps my dry skin moisturized.
Last but not least, I 've been suing
Lexli AloeGlyC *. It's a face exfoliator like no other, because it's formulated with a base of organic, pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera and glycolic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid and features a pH similar to that of a professional chemical peel but without the risk of burn or redness. With consistent daily use, AloeGlyC improves the appearance of sun-damaged and aging skin by smoothing skin texture, reducing hyperpigmentation, and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Those with acne also benefit from AloeGlyC's ability to unclog pores and minimize their appearance while reducing post-acne pigmentation. This exfoliator is packed with antioxidants, including Vitamin C beads,Vitamin A, D and E and Green Tea, that helps to neutralize free radical damage, contributing healthier- and younger-looking skin.
I've been using AloeGlyC every other day (you can use it daily if you don't have sensitive skin) and my skin has improved dramatically. I can see that redness on my face has gone and I think, using this exfoliator in combination with Lexli Moisture Intensifier Serum and Night Moisturizer Aloe Vera Cream helped my skin look smoother and healthier.
What else I liked about Lexli Skincare __ their products are paraben-free and cruelty-free. Also, I like that their products come in travel sizes too, so that people can try their desired products before committing to a larger size.
Have you used any of these products? Let me know in the comments below. Wish you all a wonderful day.
Stay Fabulous!
